NexTrack is committed to delivering high-quality, compliant, and legally authorized content to digital streaming platforms worldwide. These Content Guidelines outline the standards all artists, labels, and rights holders must follow when uploading material through NexTrack.
Failure to comply may result in content rejection, removal, account suspension, or termination.
1. Ownership & Rights Requirements
You may only upload content for which you fully own or control the necessary rights.
By submitting content, you confirm that:
- You own the master recording OR have written authorization from the rights holder.
- You have secured all necessary publishing rights.
- Samples, beats, loops, and instrumentals are properly licensed.
- You have permission from all collaborators, producers, and featured artists.
⚠️ Unauthorized uploads are strictly prohibited.
2. Prohibited Content
NexTrack does not distribute content that includes:
Copyright Infringement
- Music you do not own
- Unlicensed samples
- Karaoke versions without rights
- Sound-alike recordings intended to mimic another artist
Misleading Metadata
- Using another artist’s name to gain streams
- Incorrect song titles
- False contributor credits
- Manipulative keywords
Offensive or Illegal Material
Content promoting or containing:
- Hate speech
- Terrorism
- Criminal activity
- Explicit threats of violence
- Child exploitation
- незаконный (illegal) material under applicable law
3. Public Domain Content
Public domain works may only be distributed if:
You created a new, original recording, and
The arrangement is uniquely yours.
Simple reproductions of public domain recordings are not allowed.
4. AI-Generated Content
AI-assisted music is allowed only if you hold the commercial rights to the output.
However, the following are prohibited:
- AI vocals impersonating real artists
- Deepfake voices
- Content designed to mislead listeners
Transparency is required where applicable.
5. Audio Quality Standards
To ensure acceptance by streaming platforms:
- Minimum 16-bit / 44.1 kHz WAV recommended
- No clipping or distortion
- Professionally mixed audio
- No excessive silence
Low-quality recordings may be rejected.
6. Artwork Requirements
Cover art must:
Be original or properly licensed
Match the release metadata
Avoid copyrighted images without permission
Artwork must NOT include:
- Streaming platform logos (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
- Pricing or promotional text
- URLs or social handles
- Misleading imagery
Typical recommended size: 3000 x 3000 pixels.
7. Metadata Accuracy
Accurate metadata ensures proper royalty payments.
Artists must verify:
- Artist name spelling
- Song titles
- Contributor roles
- Explicit content labeling
- Release dates
Incorrect metadata may delay distribution or royalties.
8. Previously Distributed Content
If your music is already live elsewhere:
- Do not create duplicate releases.
- Use proper transfer procedures when switching distributors.
Duplicate content can lead to platform penalties.
9. NexTrack Review Rights
NexTrack reserves the right to:
- Review submissions
- Reject content
- Request documentation
- Remove releases that violate policies
- Cooperate with copyright investigations
We are not obligated to distribute any content.
10. Repeat Violations
Multiple violations may result in:
- Account suspension
- Permanent removal
- Withheld royalties
- Distribution bans

11. Best Practices for Artists
To maximize approval chances:
Upload only original music
Keep documentation for licenses
